The world is a man-made illusion.  When you care about it, it is real.  When you don’t, it becomes an illusion.
The materials for making the installation work “Manufacturing Worlds” are from a model making factory which went bankrupt.  I scooped the whole left-over, which include the skyscraper, plane, cow & military tanks.
The process of creating such an installation is really interesting.  The model making factory made such vivid mock-ups without any logical relevance.  I re-organize them to create something according to my interpretation.  Therefore, an absurd man-made world of was born, full of emotions & logic.  In fact, I didn’t make any choices in terms of material.  I was just the window dresser who made the arrangements.
As the models looked so real in the installation, people tend to examine them according to the normal logic instinctively.  But, if one does so, one will immediately falls into a messy pool of understanding.  For example, the newly constructed skyscraper which fell completely in one piece was casted an absurdity by the fact that a living cow was standing on top of it without any purposes.  The contrast of the fallen skyscraper & the cow go completely against the objective recognition.
I didn’t make the mess. The world itself is a mess.  It is so hard to say what is right or wrong when something happens.  The reason I believe is that people say things or do things based on whether they could benefit.  It is a deadlock.  No one can convince each other.  Once someone sticks to one’s opinion too much, the result is just like the cow standing on top of the fallen skyscraper, looking pretty strong, but ridiculous in fact.
It is not sad to look at the world as if it is a man-made illusion.  In my installation, one may come to terms with wars & disasters.  Honestly, they are merely models in a showroom.  Likewise, when one is bewildering over loss & win, one might as well regard the world as God’s holy game.  Those things made one bewildered are just some empty rules.
